About Lauren Greenberg Wanderman

Lauren Greenberg Wanderman has practiced exclusively family law since 2004. She is trained in litigation, mediation and collaborative practice and especially enjoys educating clients about their rights and options as they go through the family law process.

Prior to forming Wanderman Family Law in 2023, Lauren was a founding partner of Lee-Messer Greenberg Wanderman. In addition, she was an associate at Canter Moorhead, Family Law in San Mateo.

Lauren is certified as a Specialist in Family Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization.

In 2007, Lauren served as Chair of the San Mateo County Bar Association (SMCBA) Family Law Section. Between 2005 an 2010, she served on the San Mateo County Bar Association Barristers Board, and was the Barristers’ Treasurer (2006), Barristers’ Secretary (2007), Barristers’ Vice-President, ( 2008) and Barristers’ President (2009).

In 2009, Lauren attended a 40 hour mediation training with Gary Friedman and Catherine Conner, two highly respected and experienced mediators, who now run the Center for Understanding and Conflict in Santa Rosa. She began working as a mediator at that time. In addition, in 2009, she joined the San Mateo County Collaborative Practice Group and has been active in that group since that time.

In 2010, Lauren joined the Board of the San Mateo County Women Lawyers Section and was the chair of the Section in 2014. She continues to serve on the Board of the Women Lawyers Section as well.

She was the co-chair of the San Mateo County Collaborative Practice Group in 2020 and 2021, and the chair in 2022 and 2023.
